Versatile Easy to Transport Operational in a Single Shift.
Clean It…Screen It….Then Move It
The GreyStone Aggre-Washer and Screening Plants are the most portable and diverse plants on the market and they can be customized to meet your specifications. Available with:
- Single or Twin classifier screws
- Urethane or Ni-Hard wear shoes
- Accommodates a variety of horizontal or inclined screens
- Manual or Hydraulic leveling devices
- Pillow block bearings on the dewatering screw
- Large feed hopper with a water system ensures maximum production to the screen and allows material to be converted to slurry prior to entering the screen decks.
- Cross conveyors can be either 24” or 30” wide and are 12’ long. The reversible cross conveyor allows for distribution of material on both sides of the wash plant.
- Screen discharge chutes have AR plate steel chute liners for maintenance-free service life.
- Chute design allows operators to discharge each product directly onto radial stacking conveyors.
- Each deck is equipped with spray bars to ensure maximum washing. Valves allow operator to regulate GPM and tailor the washing action of the material.
- Large work platform with safety railings and toe boards gives operation a safe area to change screen cloth, adjust spray bars, and monitor screen operation.
When you are ready to move, simply fold down the feed hopper, remove the blocking and hook up to the tractor trailer. The plant can be moved and ready for operation within a single shift.

This innovative sand dewatering unit combines a fine material screw and dewatering screen to produce sand and gravel products with a moisture content as low as 8 to 13 percentby weightwhile using only 30 HP to wash and dewater up to 100 TPH. A standard GreyStone inclined single-spiral fine material washer initially dewaters the material while the rotation of the dewatering screw scrubs it to remove surface dirt. The action of the screw flights sends the sand up the inclined tub as the vibratory dewatering screen further removes moisture from the sand. The combined process produces a caked, dry sand product that neither an inclined dewatering screw nor a vibratory screen can separately achieve. The Aggre-Dry Washer is available in sizes to handle production of 100, 200, 300 and 400 TPH.
Aggre-Dry® Washer Benefits
Produce More/Drier Sand With the Aggre-Dry
 |
-
Combines the efficiency of a dewatering screw with the drying characteristics of a dewatering screen
-
Produces sand & gravel products with a moisture content as low as 8 to 13 percent by weight
-
Creates a caked, dry sand product and drip-free stockpiles with no runoff or water pools
-
Standard fine material washer initially dewaters the material
-
Vibratory dewatering screen at end of the flights further removes moisture
-
- 0.25 mm screen opening reduces amount of material throughs
-
- 14” bed depth squeezes additional moisture from the sand
-
Re-introduces the throughs from the screen back into the washing process for more salable product
-
- Eliminates the need for pumps or cyclone sand separation systems
-
Uses less than half the horsepower required to process the same tonnage of spec product using a traditional screen/cyclone system
-
Increased water handling capacity for greater versatility
-
Available in sizes to handle production of 100, 200, 300 and 400 TPH.
