Materials such as powder, plastic pellet, dry chemicals, glass cullet, coal, metals, ore, minerals, aluminum, mining and aggregates, grains, seeds, pharmaceutical products, dry detergents, ceramic, textiles, rubber, fibers, feed, wood chips, salt, sugar and much more can be conveyed by JVI vibratory feeders. Any processing plant where dry bulk material is handled would benefit by learning more about JVI vibratory feeders.

JVI Electromechanical and Electromagnetic LINEAR Trough and Tube FEEDERS are ideal for applications such as conveying, bin discharge, reclaim, crusher feeding, batching, weighing and dosing - just to name a few. The rugged, single mass design requires no tuning or retuning and is inherently low maintenance. All JVI linear feeders are engineered to meet the application requirements and are available in trough and tube models for light, medium and heavy duty applications.

Vibratory Tube Feeders

The JVI Tube Feeders are effective in a variety of dry bulk material handling applications especially when gentle handling and reduced dusting are required. Because there are no internal moving parts the product does not experience degradation that is common with screw feeders. The product is conveyed via innovative 'micro-throw' motions.

They are available with electromechanical or electromagnetic drives and wear liners for longer life. Electromechanical tube feeders are by far more popular and effective in most applications.

These long Conveyor type Feeders are available with most of the same options that JVI pan feeders offer and are available in lengths up to 25 feet. They are inherently dust tight and suitable for wash down.

Electromagnetic Vibratory Feeders

Feeder Models

MPF - the MPF pan feeder model Electromagnetic pan feeder shown above is well suited for to medium to heavy duty horizontal feeding applications and most material types. The unique integrated chutework option shown above makes installation easy - simply bolt the feeder to the hopper outlet - no additional support system is required.

EPF- the EPF model feeder is designed to manage very heavy duty horizontal feeding applications and large sized, heavy material types.

MTF - the MTF Electromagnetic tube feeder model is well suited for light to medium to heavy duty long distance feeding applications and most fine, friable and light material types. RMF tube feeders are ideal for closed, dust-tight applications, and additional inspection hatches can be added for ease of clean out.

Volumetric Vibratory Feeders

Volumetric Vibratory Feeders by JVI eliminate maintenance issues inherent with belt and natural frequency feeders. Based on single mass drive technology, JVI volumetric feeders deliver high capacity, repeatable performance and trouble free service. Innovative static chutework supports and highly accurate control packages are available.

Benefits of Volumetric Feeders:

  • Low maintenance.
  • Repeatable performance.
  • Excellent control packages available.
  • World-class electromechanical drives.
  • Designs available for capacities up to 2500 TPH.
  • Simple rugged design eliminates exciter springs and tuning problems.

Dosing Feeders

Available with many options such as the integrated hopper package or various stainless steel finishes, the DPF feeder is very versatile. The DPF feeder is excellent for use in light to medium duty feeding applications for food, chemical, pharmaceutical and other processing industries. The 0 to 100 % adjustable feed rate controls make the JVI DPF model feeder a precise batching feeder for packaging applications.

Several electromagnetic drive models are available to satisfy a broad range of feeder sizes and possibilities. All 60Hz drives are available for 110V or 220V service. The DPF's drive has instant on/off capability, fine rate adjustment, and requires no maintenance. Materials of construction for the feeder trough include Stainless Steel or Mild Steel. The hopper of the DPFH is designed with 75 degree walls to promote material flow at a constant rate and eliminate product bridging at the discharge. The feeder trough can be designed with vertical or horizontal discharge and a closed or open trough. The material bed depth is also adjustable to accommodate materials and capacity ranges.

Benefits

  • Low maintenance
  • Repeatable performance
  • High quality drives and control packages
  • 0% to 100% Feed rate adjustability
  • Designs available for constant or intermittent duty
  • Many options available to meet unique application requirements
Vibratory Spreading Feeders

Engineered with an extra wide trough to spread product accurately, evenly and uniformly, the JVI Vibratory spreading feeder does not cause product segregation and produces virtually no product degradation.

Low maintenance, accurate control, world-class drive mechanisms and state-of-the-art designs are inherent with each JVI Vibratory Spreading feeder.

JVI Spreading feeders for:

  • Spreading and distributing
  • High or low capacity
  • Short distance conveying
  • Storage discharge to conveyor
  • Coating
  • Feeding crushers

Benefits of the JVI Electromagnetic Spreading Feeder with Integrated Chutework Package:

Single package – includes feeder, chutework and supports

  • Bolts directly to hopper outlet flange
  • No safety cables required
  • Reduced installation and startup costs
  • Reduces engineering costs
  • Safe and stable vibratory feeder operation
  • Ensures proper feeder and chutework clearances
Vibratory Conveyors

JVI Resonance Conveyors are ideal for gently conveying bulk materials over long distances. All JVI resonance conveyors are driven by a low-maintenance, quiet slider-crank drives. Energy consumption by the resonance conveyor is minimal compared to other feeding methods. Resonance Conveyors are available in lengths from 5 feet to 115 feet and can have straight or curved paths.

  • The RPC/RTC conveyor is engineered for high or low capacities in pan or tube configurations. Ideal for gentle handling of product, and suitable for abrasive or hot material. Designed with a counter-oscillating frame for vibration-insulated installations and low maintenance operation. Feeding widths vary from 12” to 5’ and the length up to 65’.

Benefits of JVI's Vibrating Conveyors

  • Low maintenance
  • Repeatable performance
  • High quality JVI drives and control packages
  • 0% to 100% Feed rate adjustability
  • Many options available to meet unique application requirements

Spiral Elevators

Conveys vertically up or down with very gentle handling of product.

The Spiral Elevator is a proven JVI product for the vertical conveyance or thermal treatment of dry bulk material. The Spiral Elevator has a very light 'micro-throw' conveying motion that handles the product gently to eliminate product degradation. The helical pattern of the Spiral Elevator's trough creates a long conveying path with high retention time that makes it ideal for cooling, heating or drying processes in a small workspace. Using the Spiral Elevator, a product can be coveyed vertically- either up or down.

JVI Spiral Elevators, also known as Spiral Conveyors, are engineered to meet exact application requirements. Therefore designs vary depending on the process, material, conveying path and the various surrounding conditions. Heights from 3 to 25 feet are possible.

Benefits of JVI Spiral Elevators:

  • Gentle vertical up or down conveying
  • Small work space footprint
  • Low maintenance
  • Long conveying path is ideal for thermal treatment
  • Repeatable performance
  • High quality, reliable drives and control packages
  • 0% to 100% feed rate adjustability
  • Many options available to meet unique application requirements
    such as
    Thermal Treatment (cooling or drying)
