Both the Rapid Mix 400 and the Rapid Mix 600 C have been designed to be totally mobile and completely self-contained with their own power source. They are also completely self erecting, using the hydraulic system to change the plant from its travel mode into a fully operational plant within a few hours. Utilizing a continuous mixing system these plants mix from 400- 600 tons per hour depending on application. Feed rates are fully adjustable for the aggregate, cement and water systems. The plants are designed for any mixing application where a cement or binder needs to be mixed into a base material.
Products such as Roller Compacted Concrete, Cement treated base, Bentonite, and Contaminated Soil Stabilization can all be mixed in these machine.

ON BOARD WATER STORAGE TANK
- The plant is equipped with an on-board water storage tank with a variable speed pump to provide water to the mixer.Tank capacity is 1750 litres (462 galls) and is complete with ball valve and all necessary pipe work.
- Two positive displacement pumps are fitted to supply 2 water bars within the mixer. Each spray bar has a ball valve to allow addition of water early in the mix, later in the mix or both together. A calibration point for accurate water weighing is also included.
VERTICAL CEMENT SILO
- Capable of storing 55 US tons (Capacity based on material being 93.64 lbs/ft3)
- A slide shut off plate is supplied to isolate the silo outlet for maintenance to the variable speed rotary valve
- A unique fold-up ladder is incorporated in the Silo design, complete with safety hoops. The silo has a pulse jet air filter, emergency pressure relief valve and anti over fill valve.
- The on-board air compressor provides air to the silo pulse jet dust collector and the air cylinder located on the truck load out gob hopper.
- A rotary valve is fitted to the outlet of the silo cone that meters material into the pugmill mixer at a consistent feed rate.

LOADING HOPPER
- The material loading hopper has step sides that are lined that are charged by wheel loader. The hopper is furnished with a belt feeder mounted at the outlet.
OUTLOADING CONVEYOR
- Mixed material can be held in the gob hopper which eliminates segregation of mixed material and enable trucks to move in and out when in continuous mode. A belt scale is incorporated approx. midway along the length of the conveyor.
- The conveyor belt has a polyurethane blade pre-cleaner mounted on the face of the head drum to prevent carry back on the return side of the belt.

TWINSHAFT CONTINUOUS PUGMILL MIXER
- Mixing tools rotate on twin synchronized horizontal shafts causing a progressive motion of material mix and constant agitation. Strategically placed spray bars provide consistent material hydration. All mixing tools are manufactured using “chill cast” hard wearing steel.
- Mixing chamber is lined with high wear resistant rubber lining. Top and sides of the pugmill mixer can be opened to provide full maintenance access. A conveyor is used as the mixer floor, thus allowing easy cleanout.

CONTROL PANEL
- Incorporating the most up-to-date technology. Control panel allows the operator to store, edit and retrieve up to 30 recipes for the proportioning of different materials.
- Displays the current production during manual/automatic operation and displays the speed of the in feeds should you be manual operation.
- The control is also provided with a printer for tickets or reports that may be needed.
