Uramic Ceramic Liner
|
Uramic panels are utilized in applications with severe abrasion problems. The panel construction utilizes high alumina ceramic tiles backed with a cushioning urethane layer. Uramic panels are:
- Produced in modular systems allowing replacement of high wear areas
- Panel construction utilizes ceramic hex tiles from 1/4" to 1" thick, total panel thickness to 1 1/2"
- Available with stud bolt and weldable installation methods
- Cushioning urethane layer prevents tile breakage
Uses: Extremely high volume sliding with moderate mass impact (medium to large aggregate)
Uramic panels are custom made to specific applications and are comprised of Tandem Products unique Rhino Hyde® urethane and domestically produced high alumina ceramic hex tiles. Specialized manufacturing processes assure the adhesion of the tiles embedded in the urethane and provide high abrasion, high impact resistance in confined or complicated applications or configurations.
Available in a variety of thicknesses and in two types; standard Uramic for applications in environments where the temperatures will not exceed 190F (88C) and High Temp which are designed for applications where the temperature will reach 280F ( 121C).
Uramic panels have been used successfully for decades in the Aggregate, Coal, Fly Ash, Glass, Gravel and other industries replacing plain or weldable ceramic tile in areas where tile breakage frequently occurs

RhinoTileTM Ceramic Liner
|
Tandem Products has pioneered the combining of urethane and ceramic materials in the production of a variety of urethane liner products. The latest innovation in ceramic wear liner products is a revolutionary new product called Rhino Tile . The advantages of Rhino Tile are:
- Rhino Tile has the ability to withstand impact better than standard ceramic tile
- Can be produced in various shapes up to 3' X 4' sizes
- Urethane support provides "cushion" to ceramic layer
- Easy to install through stud attachment
Rhino Tile is a unique combination of three proprietary urethane polymers and a high alumina ceramic media. Rhino Tile is custom made to your specifications, yet is malleable enough to allow fine tuning on site. Rhino Tile is not tile, it is a one piece, seamless, ceramic wear surface bonded to a bed of the most modern urethane chemistry available. Rhino Tile is produced in custom made parts up to 12 square feet each. No individual pieces to chip or fall out, no time consuming installation with messy silicones and nibbling tools.
For lining turn-heads or impact pads with severe wear, Rhino Tile provides a long-lasting ceramic impregnated product that won’t chip, break off or come unglued, clogging the spout or contaminating the product stream. Rhino Tile's proprietary ceramic wear surface is unlike any ceramic product currently in use. Under impact it does not chip or shatter like typical ceramic tiles. Coupled with the shock absorbing bed of specialty urethane, Rhino Tile absorbs the impact over a wear surface that will dent before it shatters.
Give don’t break means longer life, less maintenance and more productivity; applicable in a wide variety of environments from -40F to 230F.

Ceraflex Ceramic Liner
|
Ceraflex panels are utilized in applications with severe abrasion problems. The patented construction utilizes high alumina ceramic tiles backed with a cushioning urethane layer. Ceraflex panels are:
- Produced in modular systems allowing replacement of high wear areas
- Ceramic tiles are 4" X 6" and 1/2 to 1" thick, total panel thickness to 2"
- Available with stud bolt and weldable installation methods
- Cushioning urethane layer prevents tile breakage
Uses: Extremely high volume sliding abrasion with minor mass impact (small to medium aggregate)
Ceraflex is a premium wear and impact resistant panel developed by Tandem Products that combines the unique wear resistance of heat treated, domestically produced ceramic tile with the resiliency of urethane. Separately both ceramics and urethanes have incredible wear resistant properties. Together each material's attributes complement the other, resulting in a superior wear and impact resistant panel for transitions and other high impact areas in the sand and gravel, mining, and grain industries.
Ceraflexis a patented process unique to Tandem Products. In documented side by side comparisons, Ceraflexpanels were able to handle over 288,000 tons of -1 ½” crushed rock, outlasting ½” AR plate 5:1.
Ceraflex panels are made to order for your specific use and are bolted or welded into place. Operating temperature range is minus 40 F below to 225 F. Ceraflex also meets government regulations for handling dry bulk food stuffs.
